Dear Reader,
In this issue we take a look at Trading Tools. To be honest, we’ve taken a pretty broad definition of that term because so many of the techniques we use in our everyday trading can be considered a tool.
To start us off, technical market analyst Louis Mendelsohn takes a look at moving averages... specifically, forecasted moving averages which he creates using intermarket analysis. Author Alan Farley compares the characteristics of the markets with the principles of physics which rule the natural world in his study of market physics. 20 year trading veteran George Kleinman explains how he uses open interest figures as a tool in his trading regimen. And Glen Ring discusses the timing of the markets with some specific observations on how current timing may affect your trading in the March/April time frame.
As a bonus, Daryl Guppy comes up from the land down under to describe the signs of over-trading and how it can work against you.
Adrienne Toghraie has contributed an article on Knowing Where to Tap in "Mind Over Money," Michael Bennett explains his walk-away debit spread strategy in “Puts & Calls,” Brad Zigler sheds some light on iShares country index funds, and Bob Ecob gives his insight into "What's´ Hot and What’s Not."
In our next issue we return to the topic of Online Trading. This topic gets a lot of buzz... we’ll try to explain how it can fit into your trading life.
