Dear Reader,
Day trading has certainly been a hot topic lately... not just in our industry publications, but in the general press as well. In this issue we take a look at who should and shouldn't be day trading. We also share some strategies to help those of you who are ready to test the waters to turn profitable trades.
Bob Deel of TradingSchool.com kicks things off by clearly defining the dangers that await the unsuspecting day trader and offering advice on how to steer a safe course. Then Tom Busby offers some suggestions which he has developed at his DayTrading Institute. Ray Burchett and Steve Prosniewski of LocalKnowledge.com offer some tips on day trading the S&P 500.
We are also pleased to offer some bonus features in this issue. Donald Mack is back with another historical perspective on the works of W.D. Gann, and author Clif Droke discusses weather patterns and their affect on the financial markets. And analysts Mike Kahn and Alex Saitta share the results of their recent research.
Of course our regular contributors are here as well... Adrienne Laris Toghraie, Mike Kahn, Brad Zigler, and Bob Ecob offer the advice you have come to expect.
In our March/April issue we will take our first look at trading indexes. Many have found this a profitable alternative to more traditional forms of investment. We will examine how it can help your trading program.
