Dear Reader,
In our last issue we focused on data. In this issue we are ready to subject that data to analysis through the use of various trading tolls and see if we can automate that process through the development of a trading system.
Author Chris Stanton discusses Boolean Algebra and its relationship to successful trading. Jeff Rickerson offers a step-by-step plan for developing your trading system. John Crane makes a compelling case for paying attention to the works of past masters and their theories on how the past determines the future. Darrell Jobman and Scott Slutsky reveal how changes in technology may herald unprecedented changes in the way we trade.
And all of our regular contributors are back. Alpesh Patel discloses how one trader deals with other people's money in a new department called "The Mind of a Trader." Adrienne Laris Toghraie talks about the importance of stability to a trader. Bob Ecob fills us in on "What's Hot and What's Not." Michael Kahn highlights Bollinger Bands in the "Chartist Corner," and Brad Zigler discusses all of the decisions investors are faced with and proposes option strategies to help make those decisions in "Puts and Calls."
Our next issue brings us back to the topic of the Internet and electronic trading. This is a constantly evolving landscape and we'll bring you up to date on the latest developments.
