- 1998: Volume 7, No. 6 |
Dear Reader,
Welcome to our annual Technical Trading issue. We have tried to assemble a collection of articles ranging from cycles to chaos to provoke some thought on the finer points of technical analysis.
We have recently finalized our 1999 editorial calendar, and it looks like '99 will be a very good year. We will be re-visiting some old topics and exploring some new ones in the months ahead. We will introduce two new departments starting in the January/February issue. It appears that one issue per year devoted to the subject of options can not begin to cover the variety of strategies available to today's trader. Brad Zigler of the Pacific Exchange in San Francisco, who was a featured author in our September/October issue, has agreed to provide a regular column called "Puts and Calls" to deal with that topic. "Market Focus" will also debut in 1999. This department will examine a single market each issue with a look at seasonal trends as well as new products available from exchanges.
Our next issue will focus on "Data, Data, Data." There is no single issue more integral to technical analysis than data. We'll look at what's new in the delivery, quality and use of data.
