Dear Reader,
In this issue we explore the topic of trading tools. Cynthia Kase kicks it off with her views on the best momentum indicators available to traders today. John Riley of System 2000 gives an assist to chartists with his discussion of some of the many technical analysis tools at the trader's disposal. Wlater Burke stresses in his article the importance of becoming familiar with your data as well as the indicators you choose to use. This is a theme continued by Bob Pelleltier who is back in this issue with a look at the various components of the data we use every day. Regular contributor Alec Saitta returns to our pages with a look at the relationship between the utility stock index and the bond market. David Hightower offers his outlook on the commodities and stock markets.
We are introducing a new department in this issue... The International Corner -- devoted to those issues of global concern to the derivatives industry. Of course, Michael Kahn is back with the Chartist Corner and Bob Ecob shares his views on What's Hot and What's Not.
Our July/August issue returns to the topic of the Internet: Trading Global Markets. In a repeat of what was one of last year's most popular issues, we will look at the growing impact of the net on both the trading and the marketing of derivatives products.
