MS Internet Explorer Users: Right-Click link, select "Save Target As"
Netscape Users: Right-Click link, select "Save Link As"

After downloading plsetup.exe to your computer, double click on the icon to install PowerLink and PowerPro.

NOTE: Should you encounter Error: 1931 click "OK" to continue. The file is now included in current versions of Windows.

In order to download CRB's historical data, please log-in into our subscription service by clicking here.

From the POWERLINK Main menu, complete the following information:

1) Click SETUP then select SET PASSWORD

• Enter your User Name (usually your email address).
• Enter your Password.
• The remaining boxes have been preset; you should not need to alter these unless your download is unsuccessful.

2) Click SETUP again to access the DATA DISTRIBUTION menu.

• Data Distribution: The data conversion path has been preset with the information below. Please note, if you change the OUTPUT FORMAT from "PRO" you will be unable to chart your data using the PowerSignals Lite charting software.
  • TARGET DIRECTORY: C:\CRB\PRO
  • OUTPUT FORMAT: PRO Format - Auto. The Master/Dat and ASCII formats are also available. To selectively distribute price quotes, you may "Use Lists" to store only the markets/contracts desired.
• Click Exit Menu to return to the Main menu.

3) The following services are available:

• Data Service: Final Markets - Futures/Cash, Options on Futures, Volatility data, US Equities and Mutual Funds data Packages. To select the number of days to retrieve, mark each corresponding date. Updated daily after 5:00 pm CT (GMT -6).
• Analytical Reports: EFTA Professional - To select the number of days to retrieve, mark each corresponding date. Updated daily after 5:00 pm CT (GMT -6). Click on View Text to view your reports.
• Market Commentary: Futures Market Service - The fundamental "Blue Sheet" and the technical versions provide analysis for more than 30 markets. To select the number of days to retrieve, mark each corresponding date. Updated daily after 7:30 am CT (GMT -6).

4) Click DOWNLOAD on the Main menu bar to begin your download.

To create charts using data you downloaded from the CRB DataCenter, close PowerLink and start PowerSignals Lite (Start > Programs > PowerSignals > PowerSignals Lite). Refer to the PowerSignals Getting Started Guide for using PowerSignals.

Click Help on the Main menu bar of PowerLink or PowerSignals Lite for additional assistance.
