STEP 6A: Conversion Setup

Right Pane:

1. Set Conversion, Source, Destination and Conversion Parameters.

1. A. Conversion:
   • Enter name of Conversion (i.e. Currencies)
   • Select Execute OR Disable
2. B. Source: Select Default, Multiple Folders or Single Folder
   • Default: (C:\Program Files\CRB\PowerSystem\Data\Pro\Futures (Multiple Folders)
   • Multiple Folders: (PowerLink 4 - Auto-Distribute)
     • Path: Click to browse for path
   • Single Folder: (PowerLink 4 Default)
     • Path: Click to browse for path
3. C. Destination:
   • a. Format: Select PRO (default) or ASCII (.CSV)
   • b. Destination: Select Default, Multiple Folders or Single Folder

   Format = Pro (layout)

   • Default: (C:\Program Files\CRB\PowerSystem\Data\Pro\Futures (Multiple Folders)
   • Multiple Folders: (PowerLink 4 - Auto-Distribute)
     Creates sub-folders based on first 2 characters (i.e. C:\CRB\Pro\SP)
     • Path: Click to browse for path
   • Single Folder: (PowerLink 4 Default) (i.e. C:\CRB\Pro)
     • Path: Click to browse for path

   Format = ASCII (layout)

   • Default: (C:\Program Files\CRB\PowerSystem\Data\ASCII\Futures (Multiple Folders)
   • Multiple Folders:
     Creates sub-folders based on first 2 characters (i.e. CRB\Data\ASCII\Futures\SP)
     • Path: Click to browse for path
   • Single Folder:
     • Path: Click to browse for path
   • Line: Select fields to be included.
     • Futures (T,D,O,H,L,C,V,I)
     • COT (T,D,C,N,R)
     • Options (T,D,O,H,L,C,V,I)
     • Volatility (T,D,I,H)
     • Equities (T,D,O,H,L,C,V)
     • Mutual Funds (T,D,O,H,L,C)
   • Compression:
     • Daily: No compression
     • Weekly: O/H/L/C with total volume and last day open interest.
     • Weekly Average: O/H/L/C/V/I
     • Monthly: O/H/L/C with total volume and last day open interest.
     • Monthly Average: O/H/L/C/V/I
     • Quarterly: O/H/L/C with total volume and last day open interest.
     • Quarterly Average: O/H/L/C/V/I
     • Annual: O/H/L/C with total volume and last day open interest.
     • Annual Average: O/H/L/C/V/I
   • Weekdays: Select Default, 5-day Week, or 7-day Week
     • Default: Data only, No padding.
     • 5-day Week: Pad file with 0 lines for holidays.
     • 7-day Week: Pad file with 0 lines for holidays and weekends.
4. D. Conversion Parameters
   • Dates: Select All Dates, From, After or Before (i.e. mm/dd/yyyy)
     • From: Enter date | • To: Enter date
     • After: Enter date
     • Before: Enter date
   • Symbol Filter: Select a Filter from the drop-down OR click to create your own Filter.

2. Click Apply Changes to save

Back to STEP 6 | Proceed to Futures, Commitments of Traders, Options, Volatility, Equities, or Mutual Funds.
