Michael Kahn has been working with charts and technical analysis since 1986 and currently writes the twice-weekly "Getting Technical" column for Barron's Online as well as the daily "Quick Takes Pro" and the weekly Quick Takes Lite technical newsletters for (www.QuickTakesPro.com). He was formerly Chief Technical Analyst for BridgeNews and a regular on such financial programs as PBS' Nightly Business Report, Yahoo Finance Vision and WebFN. He has written two books on technical analysis, most recently "Technical Analysis: Plain and Simple," and has appeared frequently as an instructor on online schools such as BloombergUniversity.com and WebStreetUniversity.com. He also is on the Board of Directors of the Marketing for the Market Technicians Association (www.mta.org).

Real World Technical Analysis, a 143-page book, printed on full size 8.5" x 11" pages to provide large, easy-to-see graphics and charts, published by Commodity Research Bureau.

Section One contains detailed descriptions of 42 technical indicators, including all of today's most popular studies and some not-so-common indicators such as Andrews Pitchfork, Commodity Channel Index, Market Profile, and Speed Lines.

Section Two includes 20 of Mr. Kahn's favorite analytical techniques, plainly detailed so that both novice and professional traders alike can quickly grasp these concepts. Some of these techniques are published for the first time in Real World Technical Analysis.

If you are new to the world of technical analysis this book is a must-have. If you are a seasoned technician this book will not only prove to be an often-used reference guide, but also the source of fresh new analytical techniques.
