- Reuters-CRB and RJ/CRB® Indexes

On Tuesday July 12, 2005 the ICE will begin trading a futures contract based on the New RJ/CRB Index listed under symbol 'CR'.

In preparation of this change, on Monday June 20, 2005 we will be changing the symbols for the CPI futures on the CME (IOM) from 'CI' to 'CK' and the current Reuters/CRB Futures Index from 'CR' to 'CI'.

CRB DataCenter

All Futures/Cash, Options and Volatility data files will need to be renamed as follows:

• Rename All CI*.* files to CK*.*
• Rename All CR*.* files to CI*.*

NOTE: If you are using 'Auto-Distribute' in PowerLink to create subfolders based on the 2 character symbol, you will need to rename the folders then the individual files. Renaming of the folders can be accomplished using 'Windows Explorer' while renaming of the individual data files is best accomplished using MS-DOS (cmd.exe).

Renaming Folders using Windows Explorer:

• Launch Windows Explorer: Right-click 'Start'; select 'Explore'
• Left Pane: Locate the 'CRB' folder on the C drive and expand
• Left Pane: Click on the 'PRO' folder
• a. Right Pane: Right-click 'CI' folder; select 'Rename'; enter 'CK'
  b. Right Pane: Right-click 'CR' folder; select 'Rename'; enter 'CI'

Renaming Files using MS-DOS:

• Launch MS-DOS: Click 'Start'; select 'Run'; enter 'cmd.exe'; click 'OK'
• Type 'cd\crb' then press 'Enter'
• Type 'cd pro' then press 'Enter'
• a. Type 'ren CI*.* CK*.*' OR AFTER renaming folder 'ren CK\CI*.* CK*.*'
  b. Type 'ren CR*.* CI*.*' OR AFTER renaming folder 'ren CI\CR*.* CI*.*'

If you are currently downloading symbols CI (CPI futures at CME) or CR (CRB futures/cash/options at ICE) you will need to rename the data files.
