CRBcharts is the next generation in a long line of chart products from Commodity Research Bureau. For over 40 years, beginning with the inaugural issue of Commodity Chart Service dated March 2, 1956, to the most recent editions of CRB Futures Perspective, we have been providing pictures of price activity to futures market participants all over the world.

CRBcharts, is a full-featured end-of-day charting package, and has been re-engineered to take advantage of the new data series. The HTTP download module will update your files up to 10 times faster than the FTP version. The PowerPro Data Manager allows you to add, modify or delete your price data, without waiting for the latest update. Release 3.31 offered many studies, including Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD), Commodity Channel Index (CCI), Directional Movement Index (DM), Average True Range (ATR), Parabolic (SAR), On Balance Volume (OBV), Rate of Change and Momentum, Bollinger Bands, Slow Stochastic, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic, Line Chart, True Range, True Strength Index (TSI) and Volatility, Envelope, Williams %R, Weighted Close, Fibonacci Arcs, Overlays, Spreads and Fibonacci Fans with Andrews Pitchfork.

Release 4.21 adds a moving average option to the RSI study, Elder Force index, Elder Ray Bull Power, Elder Ray Bear Power, Ratio study and Oscillator study. Additional features include long file names for saving charts, a QuickView browser, and extensive help menu. Upgraded SmartView will now pause and allow interaction with the program.

CRBcharts data files have been expanded to include 600+ Global Futures and Cash markets, 12,000+ stocks and 17,000+ mutual funds. Futures volume and open interest on individual contracts is also included, as well as composite volume for each commodity. Expired contract data will remain in the database for 3 years after expiration. Historical nearby futures and cash data will be available for the previous 20 years.

  • Individual contracts begin with the January 1998 contract.
  • Nearby Futures and Cash data start January 2, 1980.
  • US Equities and Mutual Fund data begin January 2, 1990.

Now you have access to complete coverage of ALL the futures, futures options, US stocks and mutual funds data you need for trading for ONE LOW PRICE OF $20 PER MONTH (no hidden costs, exchange fees, or fancy extras to pay for if you want to look at another market.)

We provide the CRBcharts software free of charge with your subscription.
